Hamster im scared of her what is she going to do?

its been a good two weeks with my pet the 3rd ay i got her i decided to give her food and she atacks my hand and bites it by the way she is a teddy bear hamster and so i left it alone but still talked to it in a sweet voice so i went to my friends cotage for 4 days and wh i came home i would put my hand in th cage she comes to it does it mean she wants to be pet picked up or bite me im scared

I agree with the first answer. I dont blame the hamster for biting you if you gave her food on the 3rd day. Obviously you are an irresponsible owner and should not own a pet of any type.  Poor little hamster. Give her to me an I will give her a PROPER home.

EDIT: Even if thats true, you should know that you need to change your pets food atleat every 24 hours. You did not. I rest my case.

um she probably just needs to get used to you. maybe she's even more scared of you than you r of her. or maybe ur hand smelled like food. hamsters dont have good eyesight, so they depend on their noses to tell them if something is food. to avoid getting bitten, wear gloves. and when she bites you, dont pull away. dont let her think that biting is how she's gonna get away from you. when you put your hand in the cage, if she comes to it, shes probably just smelling you to get used to ur scent. if she bites you again, i'm really sorry i gave bad advice.

WOW, you got a pet hamster. Then on the third day, you decided to feed her. I'd try to bite your head off if I was that hamster.
