Hamster pet?

OMG i really want a teddybear hamster and my dad wont let me and i really want it and he thinks they STINCK and im like i really want but he wont let me and i said ill take really care of it and also ill clean him and the cage every 2 hours plzzz give me some begging tips plzzzzz!:(

the smell isnt that bad..

and they make colonge for small animals like hamsters.

its either at your local pet store or Petco.

well. tell your dad you actually only have to change it every month. they are really low maintaince. and cheap. the setup for a cage/water bottle/wheel/ ect. is usually like 50 dollars. and then you can either shredded newspaper or use wood chips for bedding. whichever you prefer. just tell him you know people who have them and they arnt much work and they dont smell. as long as you change their cage once a month or so.

also, you can change their cage as often as you want, it all depends on how strong your hampsters urine is. all are different. some may pee more. when it starts smellin like strong pee in the cage, thats when i do it. im busy, i have two rabbit cages to maintain every other day and i have a part time job and am in my senior year of high school, so i dont have time to do his cage every week.

Yeah hamsters actually don't stink at all if you clean the cage everyweek. Also, maybe you should get a tortisshell hamster. They tend to be A LOT nicer, but then again I'm sure you could find a nice teddy bear hamster if you wanted to, it all depends on the personalities.

I had one once, they're acctually really fun ^^

You only need to clean their cage like once a week

They don't smell, if they do, that just means you need to clean the cage more often :]

Hamsters are really cute but they really DO smell. They also chew everything. My hamster chewed the hamster wheel completely, he ate his way out of the cage through the top and ran around my house in the middle of the night and behind my washing machine. Their good pets but they could be pests like rats and smell all the time.
