sorry its so long but please read to understand situation
so i just got my new hamster 5 days ago, he seem to have settle well but in the 2nd day i saw something that looked like diarrhea (it was wet and a lil green) now today i saw something similar, i also see he made hard regular dropping as well. could this be diarrhea? im so scared of him getting wet tail? (i looked at his bottom and it doesnt look wet at all)i would pick him up and check closer if his bottom is wet but he is not used me that much and dont want to scare him
he seems fine though his day goes like this he sleeps during the day then gets up eats from his bowl drinks water then starts walking around his cage and climbs and hangs from his cage, he just discovered his wheel today and he was running on it, really happy about that
his diet consist his bowl food,on the 2nd day i gave him a small piece of apple, and on the 3rd day i gave him a small piece of carrot, and i change his water on his water bottle daily, i also put a few chew toys in there for his teeth.
im also scared he might have lethargy but could be wrong since this is my 1st hamster...he tends to just take a lot of naps he will wake up for a good 30mins to-an hour then goes back to sleep for 20 to 45 mins then it repeats
other then these 2 things hes very active, im always talking to him so he can get used to me and on 3rd day i cover my hand in his bedding (make my hand smell familiar) and he will sometimes come to it and sniff it and continue what he was doing im trying everything to make it less stressful since i know hamsters moving to a new environment can be?
whats do you think about this? could he have lethargy and possibly wet tail or just plain diarrhea? and what can i do to help it?
also his breathing sometimes i see him doing it hard but other times he doesnt, is that normal?
and is it normal for him to sneeze once in awhile like every hour or so, i use carefresh bedding do u think thats why he sneezes ?
his a teddy bear hamster, and i only gave 1 lil fruit and lil vegetable and i only plan on giving them 1-3 times a week
