Hamster purchase?

Question

if i go to the petshop and buy two hamsters would it be a good idea to buy two from the same cage or will they still fight the petshop keeps 3 in one cage

They will fight.

Even if they are dwarfs they can get a little territorial if the cage is not big enough.

they are going to grow up and become territorial

they will still fight once they reach sexual maturity, unless they are dwarfs.

No one here is 100% sure they will fight but if they are syrians or goldens as some people call them, they will need to be seperated(in 2 different cages)Dwarfs(only2-4)would live happily in a 10 - 15 gallon tank with food water a hide out and a few toys, but i prefure a plastic bin, they are lighter, easyer to clean, and provide much much more space, this is the site:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesuy/153...
