Hamster question!? Please answer!?

I got two dwarf hamsters but they kept fighting so I bought a separate cage so they both have their own. But One of them got really fat and the other one got really skinny and i don't think its healthy. I'm more worried about the skinny one because hes not eating any of his dry food and i checked his teeth and they are perfectly fine! What can i do???? Hes getting really skinny!

Take them both to the vet and see if he can help. you might consider putting them back together, keep the separate cage for when they fight and when they do, separate them. They might be lonely and like humans one might get depressed and over-eat, whereas another might express grief by not eating.

Take your hamster( the skinny one) to the vet so that they can give him some medication.

first of all give youre hamster more variaty icheese/her diet natrly some can be fatter than uthers but if you are relly concernd see a vet make shore that youre hamsters are only fed what thay shuld be nothing else.

the reason they are fighting is probably cause one got pregnant. they tend to be really mean when they are, and thats also why maybe she is really fat. I don't know. you should try phoning the vet, and explaining it. then, they might know what kind of medicene to give them, and you can just pay the money when you are there. if you go down to the vet, then it will cost ALOT of money to give them a checkup, and the vet might not even be able to tell whats wrong.

definatly dont waste money on going 2 the vet the problem is simple, give it different food maybe something it really likes!

Well actually i got two guinea pigs but I got a answer close to one of the people here who answers i got one put them together cause there fighting makes them want to eat because the domination the bigger and fatter you are to rodents means you are the more Alpha and i suggest it wouldnt matter for you to be a grandma also i would take them both to a vet to cut there nails if they try to fight also give them a check up for about 60$
