I really want to get two dwarf hamsters, Im still trying to convince my mom tho. Ive been doing a lot of research on cages and alot of them seem to break easily, does anyone have suggestions on a cheap, but sturdy cage. (include pics!)

thanks

  1. i used to have a dawrf hamster but my cat ate it ):

i think you should get a wire cage its really sturdy and when i was at petco the people who worked there said that using a 10 gallon fish tank is good they cant crawl up the side and get out long as you buy the wire top to go on there so they can breathe. but yeah ive had tons of hamsters and wire cages work the best! (:

  2. i would suggest bin cages if your look for cheap and sturdy. It is almost entirely escape proof.

go to the bin cage on this site. http://www.freewebs.com/happyhamsterhelp...

  3. I would suggest a bin cage.  They are so much bigger than any store bought cage and there are no bars for them to escape from.  They are also a lot cheaper.
