I think it's a tumor....but any help please?

  1. It might just be the way the hamster grew or how the bones grew. And the hamster is old, for the life span of a hamster is only about 2-2 1/2 years. As a result, it might be a slight lack of nutrition or something like that. It sounds pretty serious though, I would get this checked out by a vet.

I wish the best. And it's probably nothing I hope! Email me about how he's doing :)

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to email me! :]

  2. Yeah this is my hamster. I've had him ever since he was a baby. Im worried about him, and any ideas you guys have on him, and why he might be sick that would help me out alot

  3. The average life span of a hamster is 1.5-2 years. You hamster is 2.5 years old which goes to say that you have taken such good care of him and he has been a very happy hamster. Hamsters are very prone to tumours and cancers in their old age and considering the other symptoms like lethargy and low appetite, it is best to get him checked out by a vet who can rule out any abnormality. Hard though it sounds, it is very difficult to treat sickness in a old hamster, so be prepared for any eventuality.

  4. could have a tumor(i hope not) there is treatment but doesnt always work
