Hamster standing still ??

Question

my hamster is syrian, and shes always active , shes a little old but not much. and she always stands on her back legs and stays still for sometimes a littlw while lol.

Tonight she was like that for a while, she would like creep on her wheel with her ears soo stright up lol cute lol.

And when she went to bed her ears were still up.

Is somthing wrong??

Nothing's wrong with her- she may have heard or smelt something suddenly that you didn't hear or smell, because they have finer senses in that way, as they're prey animals.

And possiblely, but you may just be noticing her going to sleep, whereas you didn't before.

LOL, my hamsters do that all the time, we keep them in the kitchen (dont ask) so anytime we're in there making food or making a raket they'll wake up and stand up (sometimes against the cage) trying to see what's going on. She's probably just trying to hear and i thought that they're ears are usually up like that in the first place i dunno never really looked at their ears.

Well, my friend had a 3 and a half year old hamster and she was still pretty lively up until the day she died. She would sleep a bit more, but don't we all when we get older?
