Hamster store. com... what?

I need help with buying hamsters online. I know there is Kijiji. But can anyone think of online stores where you can buy pets and stuff. like adoption online...???

By 'buying hamsters online' do you mean that you are finding places to buy hamsters online, or do you mean that you are actually buying a hamster online and having it shipped to your house? Because I think that shipping a hamster is a terrible, terrible idea no matter how much the company will say that it's ok. I know this because I've had to take my hamster in the car several times and even that upset her a lot. Try finding a local place!

I would be careful buying hamsters online.  The trick to buying hamsters is making sure they are not preggers.

If you buy a hamster that is preggers, all bets are off.  This happened to me when I was a kid.  The hamster decided to get preggers before i bought her.  Once I got it home, a few days later there were a bunch of little hamsters in the cage.

The big hamster proceeded to eat all but two of the babies.  

So you see, just make sure the hamster is not preggers.  If it is, it may well eat its young, and that is just a whole bag of wrong.

One other problem I can think of is that it is probably difficult to ship a hamster.  Put yourself in the hamster's place and pretend you have to spend 3-5 business days in a USPS parcel.  I think that would kind of suck for the hamster, not to mention be very boring.

I think you should go to the pet store and buy one that way you can see if it's healthy or playful and you can see it.

not being funny but y dont u go to a petshop that way u no there clean and healthy u should never buy online i think any way it up to u though
