Hamster water bottle?

ok i got a water bottle from wal-mart the other day and i have a wire cage and it wont stay on any ideas how to make it stay on?

If the water bottle didn't come with a wire you could improvise and make one. Try using bendy wire.

If not then they sell water bottle's at /pets at home/ which comes with a plasic holder to put the bottle in which attaches to the cage.

If you do decide to use some wire make sure it is fastened on properly!

They usually put the metal wraps INSIDE the bottle. Check, and if it doesnt, go back to the pet store with it.

I had the same problem so I just used a pony tail holder and used it instead of the metal thing it holds it on better anyway.

There should be a metal wire that wraps around the outside of the bottle that hooks on to the cage.  If not then just make one.  You could try using the bendable type of wire so that you can wrap the ends around the metal wires of the cage.

Plastic zip ties work :) - check the tool box, there may already be some in your house. If you have a wire coat hanger or something similar, that can also be fashioned into a water bottle holder.

If you have some zip ties, those are pretty cheap and work well.  Downside is you'll have to cut them whenever you get new water, which is pretty wasteful.

Maybe return it to the store and tell them it is missing a piece, and you'd like to exchange it for a complete one?

Try using wire a paperclip or something and tie it super tight
