Hamsters or Mice....

Question

Ok so I'm getting either a mouse or a hamster. but i was wondering witch one you like better. like for activity, playful, clean up, cuteness, etc. thank you for your opinions!

for mice get two females or for a hamster get one. I have a cute russian dwarf hammy but robo hammies are cute to....... um get a hamster but its your choice. Research each then decide!

get a hamster! they are waaayyy cuter and more fun and they don't have creepy long tails!

I would get a cage with more ventilation, plus the plastic could be chewed through anyway

I suggest getting a hamster.

Here are some reasons to support my opinion:

They have great personality!

They are fun to play with and are energetic!

I would get the second one! Either one!

They are holdable and touchable!

They are adorable!

Fun to care for!

Fun cage building.

Easy to care for.

Not costly!

Great pets!

Fun!

I have three hamsters and I never get tired of them! I also enjoy decorating their cage and giving dust baths!

If your girly I suggest getting the pink crittertrail cage! Or even a aquarium to make it funner to decorate!

Mice are cool, but I like hamsters better. They are less twitchy than mice, and clumsier...which makes them easier to control and more fun to look at. I'm also not a big fan of tails in general (I agree with the guy that said they are creepy). I always wanted a pet Chipmunk, and Russian Winter White hamsters are probably the closest thing you can buy to a domesticated chipmunk. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_Whit... -

Crittertrail cages are good for Hamsters, but they might be a bit bulky for mice. The cages you linked to would both work fine.

The best hamster cage I have bought so far are the Crittertrail "Home Outlook" bin/tub type cages - http://www.amazon.com/CritterTrail-Home-... - Easy to clean, spacious, and expandable. I like these because there is not a lot of wasted space...you don't need a 3 foot tall cage if the hamster is never going to be able to reach the top 2 feet of it. Bin cages are roomy without wasting space. They come with everything you need to start (food dish, water bottle, hideout, and wheel). This one retails for $25 to $30 at most pet stores.

Hello you should get a hamster because it has a short tail not like mice that have a longer one and its it cutties than mice.
