Dolphin’s fast bowler http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kyle-Abbott-c1823 has been called up as replacement for Morkel, ahead of the third Test, commencing at Centurion from Friday, February 22, 2013.
Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) national selection convener Andrew Hudson said that Abbot’s impressive form in domestic cricket prompted his call up.
"Kyle swings the ball nicely and is another player who has earned a call-up through outstanding form at franchise level. He has done extremely well in the Sunfoil Series [the domestic first-class competition] this season,” http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Charles-Hudson-c44308 told media reporters on Tuesday.
"He had an outstanding match return of 12 for 96 against the champion, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Cape-Cobras-c776, and finished the series as the leading wicket-taker [49 wickets] and an economy rate of under three to the over," the CSA selection convener went on to add.

Andrew Hudson also revealed that fast bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe is yet to fully recover from the ankle injury which he had picked up in December last year. However, he was confident that the left-arm seamer will recover in time for the limited overs leg of the itinerary.
"We did consider http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LL-Tsotsobe-c1842 [for the Tests] but unfortunately he is still recovering from an ankle injury. He will only be fit in time for the limited overs segment of the tour," shared Hudson.
