Ok so my daughter who is 14 months old apparently has the Hand foot mouth disease. How she got it or from who.. i have no clue..

She has had a fever as high as 105 but since yesterday the fever has dropped to about 100 (thank god)

The doctor said there isnt much to do since it is a virus. So we left without any antibiotics. but she had told me to give her a tsp of benadryl and maloxx or mylanta mix.

My daughter is sooooooo irritable its not funny all she wants to do is curl up and just cry. The sores in her mouth must be killing her. she barely eats or drinks anything. and its killing me watching her like this. and the drooling is ridiculous because it hurts to swallow.

so anyways my questions were.. Has your child had this before (around the same age group please) what did your doctors do? and any advice as to what i can do to help her out at all. i feel so sad not being able to do anything.
