I not asking about Lt and Rt Hand Signals. Back when I rode with a pack. We use hand signals all the time some to show speed or slow down we would pat the top of are head to say hay there is a cop. I read a question where someone said that means put on a helmet. What hand signals do you use and what dose it means. Let not go nuts with the finger jokes

  1. One of the most common I have seen when riding in a group is someone in the lead points to the road to indicate there is something ahead that you need to steer around.

  2. Open hand raised high then close to fist means the group is coming to a stop. Left hand parallel to the road in a kind of patting motion means reduce speed. Pointing downward to the ground mean debris in the road on whichever side you point. Pointing to the gas tank cap means you need to stop for fuel. If for some reason your hands are busy you can stick your foot out to signal lane change.

Digging in my jacket pocket means I'm looking for a duracel battery to throw at your car for cutting me off!

  3. i point to my head and then thumb back to behind me to signal cops behind me... may even flash the highbeam

i have a specific wave for club members (no, i'm not a member, don't live in the city, and don't have the time to drop everything to help out the brothers between work, wife, kids and such.... been invited many times... i'll just stay a prospect)

the only other one i can think of is to twirl my fist or finger up in the air if i'm tailgunner on a ride to signify the guys near the back they need to speed up and keep with the group

  4. when cagers show you their middle finger,it means they think you're number one,and you're doing everything just right

  5. I use most of these. Patting the head means "cop", around here.

Highbeam use is permitted during  the day.

For "single file" (to let someone pass) we make a 'mohawk' with our hand on top the head (indian file).

  7. Yeah I point to my helmet, on the side though, I try not to point to the top of my head, I was the one that said that in my other question.

I twirl my finger around pointing up that means your turn signal is left on

  8. hand flat parrallel with the road below your waist, everyone needs to slow down, something ahead.
