The newly signed Inter Milan goalkeeper acknowledged how much influence the best goalkeepers of his generation have had in his own development as a shot stopper.

Handanovic was talking at a press conference in which he stated that his ambition has been to secure a place in the top clubs. He went on to comment:
"Inter are the top club that I had set my sights on. I have always worked hard to join a club like this, where we can fight for silverware."

"I have a lot of respect for him. He's a great goalkeeper, but I have nothing to do with his situation. I can only do my utmost for the team.”
Cesar has been linked with a move to city rivals, AC Milan, who currently have Abbiati as their No. 1 goalkeeper.
