Handle on kirby ultimate g won't stay upright

Question

I thought your guide was great and I would like to get my replacement parts from you, but I didn't see it on the e-bay web site store. I think I need a new pivot assembly switch which is what the handle plugs into. the handle just kind of flops around and frequently tips the whole vacuum cleaner over. I think the switch needs replacing. I can get the part but how difficult is it to crack the case and fix this? I noticed that it looks like I'll need hex wrenches to crack the case. I just don't want to get into the middle of something if it's something I can't or won't be able to handle. thank you.'
