VAMOS RAFA!!!! this rafa fan is happy as h**l

feel sorry for roger though.... im glad rafa won, but losing the streak is pretty emotional. Well, it had to end sometime but stil, 6 times in a row could have been a huge achievement. i honestly respect Roger.

but the match was unbelievable. It was probably the closest final match in history since borg vs mcenroe.

what are you thoughts? rafa fan!??!?!

  1. It was amazing. Even though Nadal won I beleive Federer played a beter match, he came back from 2 - 0 that can only be done by a champion. =]

Anwyay I am hapy for Nadal but I am guttered that Federer didn't beat Borg's record. Still Federer's an amazing guy and an amazing player - he can bounce back!!

I think Federer was unlcuky in the last part of the fifth set. Still they both played extremely well! =]

  2. The match was a great one.  Though not a fan of Nadal but have to give him for grit.  Sad for Federer.

  3. Yes definitely the best final I have seen in a long long time. I was at the edge of my seat. Was a little disappointed in Rafa after he lost the 3rd and 4th set. I had to switch the match off for a long time in the 5th. I finally started watching again at 7 games all in the 5th set and Rafa miraculously broke Federer and won the match later by holding his serve.

The match was so close and both players played out of their skin. It was a pity that someone had to lose.

  4. First of all im not a roger nor a rafa fan, my real sport is badminton.but i really love watching  tennis matches and definitely this is the greatest and closest match i´ve seen. it was full of drama and excitement that the viewers are on the edges of their sits. i like the fighting spirit of both players, they truly deserved to be called champions, their skills and strategies are good, they pushed each others limits, which is one characteristics of champions, fight for every single point. While watching closely this Wimby 2008, i was hoping that Rafa will win the title,(im not really a Fan of his) but due to his improvements and games i think he truly deserve the title. Roger played great tennis as well. the comebacks and all the servings. The word "Masterpiece" really deserved to be called on their match.. Congratulations to all Rafa Fans.

  5. When Rafa won the second set, i just switched off the tv but when i put it on again, expecting to catch a glimpse of the presentation ceremony, i got the shock of my life to see Roger making it two set all. Now that really requires a lot of determination and the way Roger bounced back was phenomenal.

According to me, Roger played much more better but was unlucky in the end to miss-hit shots at the crucial moment!!

I m still a devoted Roger Federer fan and his this loss has only made him a lot more respectable in my eyes...

  6. yes it was the best game i have seen. i was goin 4 rafa

  7. It was the best match I've ever seen this entire year, and quite possibly the best I've ever seen in my entire 21 years on earth. It truly was an epic showdown of tennis giants, though I am a fan of both Fed and Rafa, I am more of a Fed fan and I wanted him to win number 6 to make critics shutup, but if he plays Rafa in a final it is evem better. Rafa achieved his childhood dream of winning Wimbledon and people can stop saying he's only good on clay, I definitely was up in the stand cheering both of them on. Federer still did a phenomenal job of fighting back, he really didn't hand that trophy to Rafa, he made him play for it and he definitely deserved a standing ovation. I was happy for Rafa and the match itself was truly amazing, it was even better than the one they had last year.
