Handsome King and Gold Deal to collide in the Free Bingo Offers At Freebetting.Co.UK Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Southwell
The Class 6 Free Bingo Offers At Freebetting.Co.UK Median Auction Maiden Stakes is to be held at Southwell over a mile on Thursday, 8th March. The race has combined a lineup of nine runners and has the purse worth £1, 704.
Among the lineup, the entry that has raced the most at Southwell is Handsome King, Lucky Story’s five-year-old chestnut gelding out of mare Samar Qand.
The five-year-old broke into the new season on 2nd February and has raced twice during the entire season since then and both the races were at Southwell.
Handsome King’s seasonal debut was in the Tickets At Southwell-Racecourse.Co.UK Median Auction Maiden Stakes on 2nd February at Southwell over seven furlongs.
The race went in favour of the 2/1 favourite, Kickingthelilly. The winner was the mount of Chris Catlin and the two led the track by 1 ¼ lengths. Bond Style left the track as the runner up while Handsome King settled into the third slot by a nose’s difference.
Handsome King’s second attempt of the season was in the Mirror Punters Club Maiden Stakes on 14th February at Southwell over a mile. Three Bards was the 5/6 favourite winner of the race while Za’Lan qualified as the runner up and was soon followed
by Darsan.
Handsome King this time was driven down to the fifth position on the field of ten.
The five-year-old has been on the same track first over seven furlongs and then a mile and today yet again will race over a mile’s distance. What sort of an impact will his third race of the new season have upon his record, will unfold soon.
Gold Deal, Chineur’s three-year-old bay gelding out of mare Alexander Express, just started his career this season and has raced twice at Southwell since then.
Despite the two starts, Gold Deal has failed to post any victories. His seasonal debut had him leaving the track in the end while his last start was in the Mirror Punters Club Maiden Stakes on 14th February at Southwell where he finished sixth
with nine others racing.
Today Gold Deal will step down for the third start of the season and will encounter Handsome King once again.
