I just set up an old Janome 4612, but the handwheel isn't moving the needle. It was, but there was a step in the instructions that had me turn a ''stop motion k**b'' the left to disengage the clutch. Later instructions said to turn it back the other way to re-engage, but I don't think this worked.The ''stop motion k**b'' now does move the needle up and down, but the handwheel doesn't. The illustration in the manual suggests that there should be a s***w in the stop motion k**b. I have a s***w hole, but no s***w. Is this the cause of my problem?
