  1. Hair of the dog.

The best quick fix is a drink. Slow down the sobering up process.

  2. drink water and eat.

don't take any medications to cure any hangover.

  3. Best thing for a hangover is to be proactive. Take a look at this liquor live article, should help you in the future:

  4. This sounds totally batsh*t but it works. Every person I've ever made try it now swears by it. Beef Jerky & Gatorade. The Gatorade restores your electrolytes and rehydrates you, the beef jerky (which is VERY high in sodium) soaks up the excess alcohol because of its high salinity.

  5. Probably.  If you drink all night and wake up early... there will still be alcohol in your system.  I'm not sure about liquor, but beer for a 12 oz. beer it takes about an hour to go through your body and that varies depending on weight/height ratio.

If you want take those chaser pills two hours before you drink and then while you drink throughout the night and those will work also.

Hangover suck and I've just heard on this show I watch called Manswers (gives answers to questions guys have), but they said to drink prickly pear juice five hours before you drink and you won't get a hangover. Other things that my friends have tried and works is drink gatorade and eat chicken noodle soup for breakfast or when you wake up.

  6. The best remedy for a hangover is ....  DONT'T DRINK!!!

  7. Yes there still is alcohol in your blood when you have a hangover. Hangovers comes from the body's slow process of alcohol. It takes the body a long time to process it. The only thing that really cures intoxication is time, but things that can prevent it is drinking water the night before with some Goody's or any headache medicine really. Always eat before you drink also. Also mixing alcohol types can give you a worse hangover, like beer and liquors.

  8. My personal method:

    *Powerade

    *Goody's headache powder

    *Sleep

*Hardee's chicken biscuit. (if you drank A LOT, you may not want to eat if you feel like you're gonna throw up next morn!)

    *Smoking weed helps sometimes too.

  9. Exercise will help get rid of your hangover by helping the body rid itself of toxins. The increased circulation gets blood and oxygen to your oxygen-starved brain.

A good, brisk walk will also increase circulation with the results mentioned above.

Another "morning after" remedy is to take a probiotic supplement, such as acidophilus, to help restore the flora balance in your stomach.

You may be more susceptible to alcohol if you have candida, which creates alcohol, too.

Sleep. Rest is your best friend at this point to give your body a recover. It is best to stay in bed so call in to work if you have to, tell them you have the stomach flu. You will sound so horrible on the phone they may believe you (unless they saw you at the bar, not a good idea then).

Replenish your body with fruit juice and water.

Avoid caffeine. A weak cup of coffee may be okay but a lot of caffeine will continue to dehydrate you, the opposite of what you want right now.

Drink orange juice for Vitamin C.

Drink a sports drink like Gatorade or Powerade.

Eat mineral rich food like pickles or canned fish.

In Poland, drinking pickle juice is a common remedy.

Drink a Bloody Mary. While the popular phrase “hair of the dog that bit you” may sound logical with a shot of whiskey left in the bottle next to your bed, it’s only temporary. Try a Bloody Mary instead, while your blood is dealing with the new alcohol it is ignoring the old and in the mean time tomato juice and celery are full of vitamins. If you drank the last of the vodka make a Virgin Mary. Another spicy morning after drink option is Hair of the Dog, in which gin and hot sauce are sure to bite your hangover back.

Take a shower, switching between cold and hot water.
