Hang-up phone calls??

What could it mean when a business that usually recieves no hang-up calls recieves several hang-up calls in the course of about an hour?

The next time you pick up say "Hi, every call is now being forward to the police."  That should hopefully scare the person into them not calling you.

You may have annoyed a customer in some way unbeknownst to you and now they are giving prank calls.

Someone dialing the wrong number several time, automated dialer, someone making prank phone calls, someone called and their two-year-old keeps pressing "redial", or maybe the number is programed into a phone that the battery is going dead.  This may cause it to call one particular number over and over.
