Question:

Hanging a bamboo window cover outside?

I have purchased a bamboo window cover for outside my window but I found with simple nails it would not stay very well because strong winds hit the window. What would be the best way to mount this to the wall outside? The material on the wall is a hard substance that looks kinda like splattered material that is kinda like stone. I can get through it with some effort.

Any ideas on a good way to get this thing on the wall? It is 100 degrees today.

  1. I don't think you want to put this outside; it will get moldy quite quickly.

  2. Maybe you could try some of the rings with a threaded end, so you simply s***w in the piece and you are left with a metal "o" sticking out, then you could tie or connect the shade from the hooks on the top.

You could even place them at the bottom and be able to tie the bottom down as well, but untie it if you want to roll it up.
