Hanging address numbers on house?

I want to hang wooden house #'s on my siding. How do I attach them to the outside without making major holes in the siding?

Little brass brads usually work well.  Not noticable holes.  

Or just be sure to use some sealant in the s***w holes. Like coat the s***w with linseed oil and it will not cause any harm.  Easy to fill the holes with wood putty later if you need.

Use two sided velcro on the numbers and you won't have to make any holes.
