  1. First of all consider alcohol allergy,,,

then when you  are done drinking for the night,,,pop a slice or two of toast in the toaster and munch on them so the alcohol has something to digest with and will help replace the sugar and starches as you sleep,,,you will feel better when you ger up the next day,,,

when you are ready to consume food,,,make a bullion cube as directed on package instructions,,,add pieces of chopped onion to this and simmer til onion is tender,,,

the salt and sodium in the bullion will replace what was lost during the drinking and your body will replace electrolytes quicker making you feel better and coordination return,,,

but consider that perhaps you may be allergic to the alcohol,,,

  2. Hope this link will help you

  3. as i get older i find that my hangovers get worse and worse. so my go to remedy is to eat something real real greasy like mcdonalds, drink a fountain Coke, pop a couple of sinus headache medicine that makes you drowsy, sleep for about an hour and wake up feeling okay...not great...but manageable. my hangovers usually keep me in the bed for a least the afternoon...

  4. yeah, drink less or not at all- guaranteed no hangover!

  5. try eating a pickle and drinking gatorade

  6. drink a cup of white plain milk before you consume alcohol and that will coat yur stomach preventing a hangover

  7. Stop Drinking. No more hangovers. drinking does NOTHING good for you, dont do it.

  8. I would always carry Mega B complex vitimins with me the night OF drinking take 2 and you will feel good the next morning. its a preventative measure . I used to hand them out to my friends and would get a call the next day thanking me . it REALLY WORKS. you will pee bright yellow but thats normal . its just the excess b vitimins

  9. Try some candy, part of the hangover is all the sugar in the alcohol and now it's leaving you

My mom always wanted a vanilla milk shake

    Mostly it's too late

I used to take an Advil* (ibuprofen) before I started drinking and then made sure that I stopped for breakfast on the way home...worked like a charm

*I realise the bottle warns about drinking and ibuprofen

  10. Honey,  eat the honeycomb if possible.  and preferably RAW honey.

  11. Here's my answer from a similar question a month ago....

    http://health.howstuffworks.com/hangover...

A little scientific but quite interesting on how a hangover occurs. The last page has suggestions....

"...eggs do also contain large amounts of cysteine, the substance that breaks down the hangover-causing toxin acetaldehyde in the liver's easily depleted glutathione. Therefore, eggs can potentially help mop up the left-over toxins."

I guess that's why 2 fried eggs work for me.

I would add milk thistle and dandelion capsules as they will help flush the liver. But drink a lot of water.

  12. Unfortunately, the only thing that will cure a hang over is time. Sorry dude! Been there done all that myself.  Worked as a medic for years we would give each other IV fluids and 100% oxygen for 30 minutes it did help, but only short term.  Stick with the water...try drinking water during the night between beers I find that helpful in the am hours.  Headache seems to be less.  Any alcohol will dehydrate you, so replacing the fluids during the night seems to cut done on the length of my hangovers, motrin, sofa, and remote helps to. Or bite the bear that bit you crack a cold one open first thing, but boy to you feel like c**p later...

  13. I find the older I am getting the less I get them ( maybe I am getting to much practice!!) but I also drink a little orange juice in the morning and eat some crackers... make sure you stay hydrated - if you cant keep anything down you may have gone over board and touch on the line of alcohol poisoning if so the only thing other then time and rest that will help would be IV of ringer... (any medic will know) good luck and

OH yeah for the nausea try ginger - keep a ginger root in the freezer when you are sick and throwing up - peel it cut it into slices and pour hot water over it - let it steep for a couple of minutes and sip - add honey if you need to .... best thing for nausea

  14. coconut water  (not milk)

    (ususally from the green coconuts)

they are starting to sell it at some yoga studios...

ZICO- is one brand -  it works best when you drink it right before bed and if your still feeling ill, when you wake up.

it is a miracle worker -

in fact during wwII they used to use this when they were running out of blood for IV´s (it is very steril) and full of electrolites, (better than gatorade)

I think coca-cola is going to be selling it sometime soon too.
