Former Pakistani fast bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Stuart-Clark-c2591 Nawaz, has expressed that he was not an extremely gifted cricketer but he had the ability to figure out the weaknesses of the opposing batsmen and that was the reason behind his success in International
cricket.
Sarfraz is rated amongst the top fast bowlers of 1970s and 1980s. The lanky fast bowler produced a number of magical spells for his country and turned out to be a true match-winner.
He was the one who introduced reverse-swing in cricket, which is now an integral part of the modern day game. A number of fast bowlers after Sarfraz utilised this art to good effect and became legendary cricketers, the list includes

While talking to Cricinfo, Sarfraz revealed that he did not have any great skill but he was able to work out on a batsman’s weak points. He gave the example of former Indian batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sunil-Manohar-Gavaskar-c91863, who was not very comfortable with
away going deliveries.
The legendary fast bowler expressed that former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 captain, Hanif Mohammad, was the most difficult batsman to bowl to because of his ability to stay at the crease for long periods of time without losing focus.
Sarfraz said, “I did not boast of any lethal weapon in my armoury. I tried to bowl according to the particular batsman's strengths and weaknesses. For instance, Sunil Gavaskar was very good at playing inswing but not that comfortable
with outswing. Hanif Mohammad was the most difficult batsman to dismiss. He was very well organised, with an excellent defence and a wonderful temperament.
There has never been a question mark over Sarfraz’s abilities with the ball but he has been involved in countless controversies since the start of his career. He never shared good relations with most of the cricket boards and captains
of the Pakistan team.
Sarfraz said that he is not a hypocrite and does not believe in hiding his emotions. This is the reason why he feels that he never had friendly relations with most of the officials.
“I was often involved in altercations with the cricket board and team officials because I couldn't tolerate any unfair play. I always spoke my mind,” the fast bowler added.
