Hanmster escaped?

sorry for sending so much but this is important!! i swept up all the food and my dad will be home in 1 hour to take the dishwasher out again. please dont suggest putting food there we her him but food does not work!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Just try all liitle corners/hiding spots.

I lost my hamsters and i found one under the sink and the other  i didnt find so all i can say is just keep looking and hearing out for liitle nosise.

Well if your dad is coming home then when he takes the dishwasher apart just grab your hamster and put him in his cage. I suggest that if your using a wire cage to instead put your hamster in a ten gallon tank with a screen top. It prevents them from escapinga nd you wont have to go through this panic again.

I have a Robo...It was sooo hard to find and catch him!

And you won't be able to catch him in a hour!!

buy a humane rodent catcher for a pet store.  Or leave his cage in the area that you last heard him, they recognise the smell and sometimes just waddle back in!

easy steps.get a deep bucket.fill a little bit with bedding.put a wooden ruler or something next to it so your hamster can climb up it.put in a peanut butter cracker.wait overnight and see if it gets trapped in there.hope i helped and the steps were easy.

All you can really do is sit tight, be still, and listen very carefully for sounds to indicate where the hamster is. Sorry, there's not really an easy fix for this kind of thing!

Mine escaped 3 times. First time I heard it nibling some paper. 2nd time I  saw it running behind a book case.3rd time well my cat found it.........quite sad.

Anyway, the best is to look in the corners, and dark places during the day, and since they are most active during the night pay close attention to any sound.

You might wanna leave the cage in floor opened since they are creatures of habit it may return to it's nest.

Leave some food around his cage or areas around it.

He may just go inside its cage by itself.
