with Monchengladbach until 2015 and has an estimated buy-out clause of 18 million Euros.
Schlaudraff stated that when a club like Bayern Munich is interested in signing you, it is a huge thing. The striker claimed that he has no regrets whatsoever on joining Bayern in 2007 as he had learnt a lot from the experience.
He advised the young German international to make the move and predicted that his career would surely blossom after that.
“Going to Bayern is a big thing. They have the best team, the best international prospects, but one must consider if one will get playing time. Marco is a great player. I would make the move again,” he was quoted as saying in an
interview.
The 28-year old added that Borussia Monchengladbach are doing really well this season but it is just a good run of form which will end at some point in the current campaign. He added that it is the best time for Reus to make the
move and he should move at the end of the current campaign otherwise it could be too late.
“Gladbach are developing well, but they will never reach the level of Bayern. And, the past has shown that there were also players who did not make the move and then things went wrong with their clubs anyway,” he concluded.
Marco Reus has had a brilliant start to the season and has already scored four goals in the 10 games played this season, accumulating one assist. He had a sensational campaign last term as he found the net 12 times in 37 games.
