The Hungarian attacker admitted that he was earning a rich contract at Zenit but grew tired of the long flight times to Siberia and was afraid of it. He also did not like the extremely low temperatures and stated that one time
they played at minus 20 degrees in Petrovsky Stadium, which was very challenging for the winger.
"Financially it was a lucrative time for me. However, it was a five-hour flight to Siberia and it was a horror for me. I also hated the cold. We once played at minus 20 degrees in St Petersburg," the Hungarian international added.
"It hurts me not to play for my country," he admitted.
