The German side have secured the signing of the Swiss international for an undisclosed fee.

Club sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, claimed that Hannover are lucky to have acquired Nikci as the player has great talent and has immense potential to succeed at the highest level. He insisted that the midfielder has been impressive
for Basel in the last season and helped the team reach the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.
The chief is confident that the player will be able to make his mark in the Bundesliga amongst some of the top teams in Europe. He admitted that the Swiss’ experience at the international stage was also a major factor in the transfer.
“Adrian Nikci is a player with a lot of potential who we fully believe has the capabilities to make a name for himself in the Bundesliga. Working in his favour is also that he's already made appearances on the international stage,”
he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Nikci expressed his delight on making the move to Hannover 96. He insisted that it is the next big step in his career and is confident that he will be able to fulfil his true potential at the AWD-Arena. He also
expressed his delight on the prospect of playing European football with Hannover in the next campaign.
“During my discussions I felt the confidence the club's hierarchy had in me and I'm really looking forward to my time with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hannover-96-c39492. The Bundesliga is a fantastic challenge for me. I want to repay their faith in me with good
performances in the 96 kit,” he stated.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adrian-Nikci-c3745 made a total of 87 league appearances for FC Zurich and found the net on 11 occasions. The 22-year old was influential in the Swiss side’s domestic and European success last season and is tipped to succeed in the Bundesliga
and in the UEFA Europa League.
