Hans Kristian Vittinghus penetrates into Men’s Singles second round at Yonex French Open
Denmark’s passionate shuttler Hans Kristian Vittinghus showed a remarkable performance and surged into Men’s Singles second round after taming England’s Rajiv Ouseph in first round clash at the Yonex French Open Super Series 2012 on Wednesday, October 24,
in France.
The World Number 17 Vittinghus, who is an un-seeded player in Men’s Singles draw of the tournament, played with unmatched speed and precision on court and easily ousted his rival by taking just 37 minutes.
Vittinghus has been showing a remarkable performance at international level for the last one year. He found a perfect start in the first round encounter and easily toppled Ouseph in straight sets with a convincing margin.
In the meanwhile, the lower ranked Ouseph failed to show his brilliance as he was unable to cope up with the impressive play of his opponent and eventually lost the contest without showing a strong resistance.
The positive and powerful shots of Vittinghus assisted him to take charge of rallies from the opening points in the first set.

Vittinghus’ cracking smashes and net killings put him in strong position until the one-minute interval.
The impressive Danish player remained on the right track in the concluding half and remained successful in taking it with a three-point margin of 21-18.
Vittinghus emerged as the winner in this Men’s Singles first round with a decent 21-16 and 21-18 score on the board.
