Happy Sabbath! It is believed that the Sabbath rest is a shadow of the rest in Christ Jesus so why would ?

we not practice the faith in Christ Jesus AND practice keeping of the Sabbath unto God seeing that they ARE one and the same?

I don't believe people understand the complete concept of the Sabbath. I always believed that God meant for us to work 6 days and rest on the 7th day-- what that day was called didn't make any difference.

I realized that Sunday is the Sun God's day and Saturday is the Sabbath or Saturday and the calendar was changed for Christians so that they would rest on Sunday.   It never occurred to me that God cared about what day one rested upon until the author of a book said that we were worshiping Satan when we rested on his day.  I think that most people think as I once thought.  Presently, I am not sure.

Yet God particularly mentioned “the day” the Sabbath, Saturday-- not simply the activities.  

In “National Sunday Law,” by Jan Marcussen, she speaks of the mark of the Beast.  She explains the worship on the Sabbath as activities involving a seal.  She defines a seal as something having to do with legal affairs.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœA law is stamped with the seal of the ruling government and the seal has three parts”

(1) the name of the ruler  (2)  the ruler’s title  (3) the territory over which he rules  

She then states:  where in the bible you will find this law:

Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.  Six days shalt shou labaor and do all thy work; But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord they God; in it thou shalt not do any work…..For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:  wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”  Exodus 20:8-11

Here she states this is the only place in the bible where you will find God’s seal

1. Hs name  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Âœthe Lord”

2. His title (the God) (Creator)

3. His territory (heaven and earth, the sea, and all that ...)

She explains in later chapters as to how you are protected with this seal according to Revelations and other Sections.

Why don't people respect the Sabbath:  brain washed, ignorance,  money, and wishing to continue what ever they are doing for convenience.  Even me, now with all this knowledge, I am not sure.

However, I am changing my Sunday workship (the Devil's Day) to Saturday.

Are we to adhere to law or Christ? For Christ is not the law, but the fulfillment of the law.If Christ is the sabbath, then we are to keep him holy in our lives and he will give us rest any day of the week.

It is a sad world we live in. I have to work on most Sundays and I am very greatful whenever I get the Sabbath off.

WE ARE NOW UNDER GRACE....and Christians have kept sunday for 2000 yrs....mines tomorrow and my kids do work sometimes on sundays....it isnt wrong nowadays....its grace!!!!!!!!!! He was jewish...we arent....see??

The Creator of the world was YHVH.  Later the Creator entered Mary to be born YAHOSHUA. (See John 1)  He cannot lie, or do anything in unrighteousness, and Scripture tells us He is always the same, and doesn't change His mind.  Thus, as Hebrews 4 says, "There remains a Sabbathkeeping for the followers of Elohim"  (Heb 4:9)
