I'm sure you've heard about the Duggars (I remember watching a special on TV about them a few years ago).

1. Joshua, 20yrs

2. Jana, 18yrs (twin)

3. John-David, 18yrs (twin)

4. Jill, 16yrs

5. Jessa, 15yrs

6. Jinger, 14yrs

7. Joseph, 13yrs

8. Josiah, 11yrs

9. Joy-Anna, 10yrs

10. Jeremiah, 9yrs (twin)

11. Jedidiah, 9yrs (twin)

12. Jason, 7yrs

13. James, 6yrs

14. Justin, 5yrs

15. Jackson, 3yrs

16. Johannah, 2yrs

17. Jennifer, 9mnths

And the newest one on the way.

The mother has been pregnant for 11yrs of her life.

  1. I think its wonderful!  Congratulations to their ever growing family.  The only thing that really shocks me is that she is still so healthy.  All of her pregnancies have been healthy with no complications.  So many pregnancies and births in only 20 years....  so many other people would have complications coming out of their ears.  Not her though.  She is a wonderfully blessed woman.

  2. Me?  no!!!  I have three, and it's more than plenty, especially since one is a teenager!

But if they have enough money to support their children, and they choose to have a large family, that's totally up to them.  I saw a picture of the whole crew today on a website, and they all look happy and well-cared-for.   So good for them!

  3. omg i cannot imagine being pregnant for 11 years of my life...but im only 20 so that wouldnt be possible. wow...

  4. wow, they must have been getting freaky in the sheets for a while to but if they love each other and each of there children all the same amount than they can have as many children as they would like.

  5. Hmmm... well, it is free slave labor!  LOL

My grandmother had 10 kids to work the farm.

    Me- NEVER!

  6. pretty soon there going to run out of J names. lol!

  7. Better her than me

the strange part is that her kids has no contact outside the people they let them

Are the older one in college, or are they home?

  8. These people are so creepy.  The worst part is that they present their lifestyle as NORMAL to their children.

I come from a family of 8, my grandmother had 7, my great-grandmother raised 16.  Believe me, once you are past 4 or 5 children, it is the children raising the children, not the parents.

  9. And a happy early Mother's day to you also!  :)

I don't have 18 children, and good god I don't WANT eighteen.  Four or five, maybe...

  10. she feels the kids are a blessing and a gift from god, she says as long as god allows her to have kids she will.

to each their own i sometimes go nuts with my one kid who is having tantrums . for her to have that many kids and not having a mental breakdown yet i would like to know how she does it all. she home schools all the kids.

  11. What's the big deal?  They have love for all of their children, the mother doesn't bemoan how many pregnancies she's had, they feel blessed by having so many children, and they're not in debt.

  12. I'm surprised her uterus hasn't fallen out yet.
