The flamboyant off-spinner from India, Harbhajan Singh, is eyeing a comeback in the national squad. The cricketer dubbed as “The Turbanator” has finally overcome the long injury crisis and once again wants to taste how it feels to play for the country.
Eager to don the blue, Harbhajan said, “I can't wait to be there. It's still there in me. God willing, I will be getting back to the place I deserve.”
Bhajji has been out of action since August 1, 2011, when he was part of the Indian team that lost to England by 319 runs. Harbhajan had a mediocre match claiming a solitary wicket.
The off-spinner got injured afterwards, and the injury cut short his tour and he had to return home. Harbhajan was consequently axed from the Indian team on account of lacklustre performances on the tour of England.    
The 31-year-old has been with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) working on his fitness. NCA personals have been working hard with Harbhajan and have brought him back to his raring best. The off-spinner reckons that the time spent at the academy has paid-off,
and he feels much stronger and fitter than ever before.
Terming himself match fit, Harbhajan said, “There has been a lot of improvement in terms of body positioning. I have worked a lot at the NCA. I am totally fit and happy with the way things are going at the moment...played five competitive matches.”
Bhajji, who is on a comeback trail, has shown his eagerness for an Indian rebirth through his bowling. In the domestic competition, the “Vijay Hazare Trophy”, he took three wickets and scored 79 runs for his home side http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Maharashtra-c811.
Content with his performance, Harbhajan said, “I have been looking to bowl in good rhythm, wickets will come then. I have been injured a lot. I had a sheen spleen and before that muscle pull in my stomach. I am happy to be playing after many injuries. It's
good to be on the ground.”
Harbhajan has been one of the most successful off-spinner in Indian cricketing history. Till date, the Turbanator has represented http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in 98 Test matches claiming 406 wickets.
