Harbhajan Singh slams dead SSC track
Harbhajan Singh has joined the brigade of those who feel that the tracks like the one in the previous game can only kill Test match cricket. The previous game was played at the SSC in Colombo and had seen both sides score more than 600 in their respective innings.
Harbhajan said that the tracks that allow batsmen to dominate as much as the one at SSC did, are a strict no-no. He said that ideally the pace bowlers should be able to get some help on the first couple of days, whereas the spinners should at least extract bounce, if not spin in the last two.
The wily off-spinner from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 and England produce exciting results, because of their true nature.
Harbhajan has had a bad tour of Sri Lanka so far, as he missed the first Test match due to a viral fever and followed it up with a match analysis of 2/182 in the second Test match at the SSC. He missed the third Test match again due to an injury. His form has been a cause for concern for some time now, and former Indian spinner Bishen Singh Bedi has often riled him by saying that he is not a spinner at all. Harbhajan played with a dead bat as he said that it was Bedi’s personal opinion and there wasn’t much one could do about it.
Though not as critical, Harbhajan did point out that the excessive cricket between the two countries, India and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758, also meant that the batsmen end up getting used to the bowlers. He pleaded, “We have played each other almost every second month in the last eight months.”
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 as the third side. Harbhajan Singh has been rested for the tri-series because of the injury.
