Hard Drive Temperature?

I have a HP Pavilion Laptop; dv6000 series. and the temperature of the hard drive is 106 F. when a chill mat is on and 120 F. when the chill mat is off. This is when the use of the laptop is not too extensive. Is this too high... Is my hard drive in danger of crashing???.

Your harddrive shouldn;t even get that hot as it is away from the CPU and graphic card.

Are you sure you looking at the harddrive temp??? and not the CPU or graphic card.
