Hard Rock Cafe in Washington D.C.?

Question

How much would it cost to rent out a room/section at the hard rock cafe for my 18th birthday? Also, is there a certain time we would have to leave because we are under 21? And I know it sounds like a stupid question because of the restaurant's name and all, but do they play anything other than rock or do they take suggestions, you know if your renting out a section of the place?

I used to work at Hard Rock Cafe. Renting a private room- most HR-Cafes have a room they rent for private parties, it is however very costly.  You would have to be accompanied by an adult, being under 21 most likely.  You could call and ask to speak to the person in charge of sales, for prices on private parties.  You could also depending on how many people, ask them if you  could arrange a time to come in, maybe at one of their less busier times- to  do a big dinner there and take the cake. Ask them if that would be OK? Our cafe used to do things like that for larger groups of people.. You will have to tip accordingly, most likely it will be automatically attached to your check.

        Unfortunately, Hard Rock Cafe plays just that- The only music they would have control over playing is when they do the YMCA, we'd push the button to interrupt our normal playing music.  Otherwise, all we can to is select the general genre of Rock, it's all Rock. It's controlled by our headquarters in Florida, what they feel fits into what category,but that's about it for your music concerns. Sorry, trust me I got tired of the music some days too.
