Hard contacts?

What's it like to wear hard contacts? How long does it take to get used to them? I have keratoconus and am looking into the hard contacts so if anyone could tell me their experience with them, that'd be great. Thanks.

When fit properly, hard conact lenses will feel uncomfortable for about a week..at most a month.  They are definitley not as comfortable as soft lenses. But if you have keratoconus, then the hard lenses will give you better vision because they can be specifically made to fit your coning cornea.
