Hi I have the choice of:

-going back to private boarding school which is about an hour away from my house. I have a few friends there but my best friend just left. And everyone there thinks Im crazy and a loser.

-or I could go to to a public day school which is 15 mins away from my house. I have no friends there but no one knows me so I could get a fresh start. My friend might be moving there too but Im not sure yet.

I really hate boarding school but I dont know anybody in the other school. Either way I'll only be there for 2 years.

Please help. What do you think I should do? I think I want to go to the day school but I cant make a decision. Help!!!!

  1. I would go to the public school so you can get a fresh start! and plus it's closer to home and you wouldn't feel like such a loser all the time! Which i'm sure you're not a loser!

    Hope I Helped!

  2. Moving from a private boarding to a publich day school.......... Firstly, consider what it is you would like to do with yourself after graduating from high school. Then, consider your options/aspirations regarding further education. Would you like to go to university? If so, which one?

Next, visit the public school and scrutinise their facilities. They may be (not necessarily) less than what you have grown accustomed to at the boarding school.

Compare the two schools in terms of quality of education with regards to what your dreams/aspirations are in life. Which of the two environments do you feel presents you with the best chance of achieving these dreams?

Once you answer the above questions, you will have made your choice.

Be sure to consider the academic, extra curricular and Social aspects in making your decision.

No one can tell you what to do. The decision is ultimately in your hands - which means you will have to live with the consequences.

  3. I realize that it's hard to be at a school where the other students hate on you. I have been looking into boarding school and the education it far better than any public school. If you can keep your chin up and go back it would be the best decision for your future. Even the biggest "losers" seem to find a friend or two. I am sorry your friend left the school. I hope you can stick it out.

You never know, by some miricle she may come back to the school.

If you do decide to go to the public school remember, it's only two more years, study hard and you'll go far.

  4. Go with the fresh start. I guarantee you will enjoy it much more and if you just be yourself you will make some good friends. You will have so much more extra time if you don't have to travel as much.

  5. Public school fer sure  :)

it's all a part of growing up, i think you'll enjoy it  :)

  6. i think u should try public school and see what u think... u never know maybe u will get lucky and love it there

  7. I would choose public school.

    Look:

    Public School:

-You still get to see some of your family, friends, people you know.

-You can go out to places to hang out

    -You can still have fun

    -You get a fresh start

-You can make new friends (plus keep the old)

    Private school:

    You sleep there .

    I don't think it's too fun

You don't have a fresh start

You only have a few friends

So Public school all the way(:

  8. i wouldn't choose boarding school!! you will make new friends at the new school and you get to stay with ur family which is 100 times cooler !

  9. welll...i like moving schools, it does give you a diffrent place to start all over again and it is nice but i'll warn you that it is hard to do, but also at your bording school, if people think that you are crazy let them, you know that you arent and what people say shouldnt matter because like i say "dont let your head fall down because there are people out there that would kill to see you cry". so eaither way it will be hard and like you said you only have two more years to go.

  10. You say everyone at your boarding school thinks you're a loser, and if that is true, why would you want to go back? I think a fresh start would be good, for anybody. I think you should try public school, because you're always going to make new friends!
