Hard drives in my computer menu are hidden!?

Question

I recently got a virus installed on my computer from those really annoying fake antispyware programs and they have been disabling alot of my programs ( i have no idea how these things are getting their way into people's computers). I had got rid of them since and everything was restored accept when i went into the "My computer screen." my hard drives were completely erased from the menu (or hidden) which i believe the fake spyware programs did so that i couldn't find a way to take them off. Is there a way to get these back in the my computer menu?
