Hard rocker winter boots?

I need some kick butt boots that I can wear in the winter time that look hard rocker-ish...my mom wont let me get combat boots, so please dont list thoses!

ariats! they are a chunky soled sport boot! i wear mine everywhere. they are available at any farm store, and have wicked traction in the snow and ice. something like this, but without the strange design on the side. http://www.bootbay.com/bootbay/assets/pr...
