Well I am young mother of seven children, which I don't even look like I have. So when they see me they don't beleive me. But any way I moved to williamsport from philadelphia because I was told housing was cheaper. Well I got side bummed. The house I oringally wanted was still being occupied by their worker. So I put a deposit down. I didn't realize it then but I was discriminate because of my family size. They took me to this house not to far from the one I really wanted and said well we have this one but it needs work. I was willing to clean it out an work on the proprety just so I could move in. Now seven months later they want me out because they say the neihbors are complaining an I damage the property. Mind you we never did a walk thru of the damages because they want away on a trip an never came back to do that part but they came back to collect rent. So they blame me for it. Now that I'm looking for a new place everyone is complaining about my seven children.

  1. If everyone is complaining then there is a problem.     You need to get control of your children so that the neighbors will love them, no hunt down the landlord to complain.    If anyone went to that much trouble there really is a problem with your kids that you need to address.

  2. How do you know that you’re being discriminated against? Perhaps in some of the dwellings you’ve seen, eight people is more than the allowed occupancy.  That’s not discrimination; that’s a housing regulation determined by the local government.

Just curious, how would someone with seven children look, so that someone could judge just by looking at you?
