I have well water, and a plastic shower. I have tried everything to clean my shower doors but its still caked with this white film. I have tried orange oil, bleach, and every bathroom product you can imagine. Any suggestions on how to keep my doors clean?

  1. Rubber gloves and toilet bowl cleaner. Wipe the bowl cleaner on the doors then rinse well. Try to keep it off any chrome if you can. Then use the Tilex shower spray stuff.

Been there done that!! So glad I don't have that exact problem any more. The Tilex really does keep it cleaner.

  2. If it is calcium building up try using vinegar.

  3. WD-40 is perfect for this problem.... spray on and wipe off... it's amazing.

  4. try vinigar and baking soda. scrub. the use windex or clorox to eliminate the odor of the vinigar. try it.. IT WORKs

  5. have you tried the shower spray? bissel makes one that works well, if you remember to spray after each shower...

if you use to hard a product it can and does strip the finish film on the plastic and then it always looks dull.. you can try wiping down the doors after each shower.. yawn that's a lot of work...

when in doubt call the manufactuer and ask them for their advice.. after all they made it.. they ought to know.. ya know?

    good luck!

  6. CLR. I swear. Just spray it, let it set for 2 minutes, the scrub with a sponge that has the scrubber on one side, and rinse. You will be amazed.

CLR is (Calcium Lime Rust) They sell it at grocery stores, OSH, any place like that.

  7. WD-40 worked pretty good for me.
