Hardest High School Year?

8th Grade = The bottom of the food chain. You are 13 to 14 years old when in this year. You are noticed most because you are in the day care of the high school building. You're a nervous newcomer, but once you figure things out you walk around with an undeserved sense of pride thinking that you're the big guy on the block.

Freshmen = Just coming out of high school day care, you are 14 going on 15 and you are just coming out of the immature phase where you find saying "****" and "****" all the time makes you cool and you are just getting over giggling during s*x ed. Now you're focused on one thing and one thing only: getting a date to the dances because being single sucks ***.

Sophomore = You're the most ignored group of students. 15 going on 16, you and your class mates are between 9th and 11th grade making yourself in the dead center of the high school classes. You're work is starting over ditching all that you've learned from 1st-9th grade and moving onto the real hard *** work that starts in 10th grade and carries you through high school. Struggling and juggling your friends, girlfriend/boyfriend, and school work is driving you crazy with nobody to help you so what you do is that you cling onto your sweetheart and your best friend and the three of you go through thick and thin together.

Junior = 16 going on 17, you're one step away from graduating. One more year and you're the big dog on campus. You're recognized for your experience that you have had so far and you're just moving away from the mind blowing difficult work of 10th grade and the easier work of 11th grade. You and your high school sweetheart are getting more serious and you're begining to seperate your best friends from your fake friends.

Senior = 17 going on 18 and you've done it!! You've made it through high school. This year your work has decreased significantly and you are matured significantly as well. You and your sweetheart and best friend are all searching to go to a college together.

  1. Defiantly Junior year!

  2. too long i dont want to read itt! i say sophomore

  3. At my town when i was growing up 1st-6th=grammar school 7th-8th=middle school and 9th-12th=high school. They have since built a bigger middle school and now it's 6th-8th=middle school but it's still 9th-12th=high school.

Anyway, I found junior year to be the hardest. A lot of my friends were a year older so I knew they were leaving after that year and it made me really sad. Also, the work load I found was the hardest that year in high school and I started having to deal with SAT's and started thinking about college.

  4. whats your question?

but if you must know i think

being a sophomore is thhardestst year.

  5. i would say sophomore sounds most difficult.

I am not American, but have heard these terms in films, but i didnt know what year or age a sophomore is, or a junior, senior or freshman.

So thanks for this question, its made things a lot clearer now.
