Hardest time getting a job?

Question

I've been searching for a good reliable job now (just a means of reliable income, not related to a full-time career thing), but with no luck to be found at all.

Sometimes its really incomprehendible because I always add a resume (in a five-star presented manner, don't you worry), sometimes a cover letter, and of course I follow up many many times. Even with jobs that need dire new recruits, I'm still out of luck!

Anyone experienced this before? How did you overcome the slump?

No choice, since the economy is on the downturn . I guess one has to wait for the right job to come by. I have been jobless for 1.5 months, and I will look for a job as and when it comes. I will not resort to unscrupulous means to secure a job, unlike some people. So you wait long long lor.

Ye man a couple of months ago I was in the same situation. I just kept on applying and tried asking friends. Craigslist I got alot of phone calls from.
