Hardship allowance help?

Could anybody help me with the hardship allowance.

what are the reasons that people are assigned to this and how much do they usually get if they have no dependants.

If it proven that you have not been looking for work, then you can have your job seekers allowances suspended for how ever many months is deemed apropiate. You then put in a claim for hardship, if your circomstances warrent it but you won't recieve anything for the first two weeks of claiming.

It is about thirty odd pounds a week. You can still claim housing bennifit and council tax bennifit.
