I just got my Motorcycle License ( from CA ) and was looking at the nightster for a bike. I weigh 140 lbs, and am 5 '11. I know 1200 cc's is a lot of bike, but is a harley an exception? What is a nice bike, ( if not this one) that i can ride, that isnt a chick bike? same color scheme? ( all black?)

for you smart a$$e$, save me the time, and save your selves the effort, i have neither the time, nor the energy to write back to your stupid answers. So spare me. Please?

  1. There was a RACING Harley a few years back, but it was not called a Nightster !

I also thought this section was for RACING Motorcycles. Am I wrong ?

  2. Are going to "Race" it, Because this is "Motorcycle Racing" forum. You have posted your question in the wrong forum you need "Cars & Transportation"> "Motorcycle"

    Good Luck

  3. Ha okay I will actually answer your question.

The Nightster is a rad bike, I love it.

Ha Harley had to make something to market to the younger group of riders, and the Nightster is what came out.

The Night Rod is similar to the Nightster, it looks good.

And as long as you have experience riding you'll do fine with a 1200. Ha my mom has a Sportster1200 low and she's only like 5'2 130.

And as far as a "chick bike"  Harley markets their bikes to mostly men so basically all of their bikes are made for men.

Hah my mom being as short as she is went through h**l to get her Sportster how she liked it. She got the low, then had it lowered another 2 inches, and still if it goes over she's screwed because she doesn't have then strength to pick it up. Weights about 800lbs.

So like I said, just get what you want. There really is no "chick bike" unless you get some bright metallic pink paint job on it.

    xx

    good luck.

  4. Hey spider

No need to get touchy! They are just pointing out that you won't get a decent answer here.

If you can't be bothered to do some real research, post this in 'cars and transportation' under 'motorcycles'

Congratulations on passing your test - why not buy a Triumph?
