Harley Davidson bike sales?

if there wasnt so much advertising, would HarleyDavidson still sell many bikes? can it stand alone without advertising????????? please answer me?????

I just bought my Hog brand new in April.  I was not at all influenced by advertising.  I think the goal of the ads are to attract new customers. That was the goal of the V-Rod and the new Sportsters. The loyalists will buy nothing but Harley anyway.

I do not feel welcome when I walk into a HD Dealership, as soon as I walk in I take notice that the salespeople walk away from me as if they are avoiding me on purpose.

the only reason I visit a HD Dealer is because they have an excellent selection of used Japanese bikes.

If I go to the counter and ask for a price they always tell me a salesperson will be with you in a minute, and nobody shows up and at the same time I will notice 2 salespeople waiting on one person that's buying a cheap $10 doo rag
