Harman/Kardon problem PLEASE HELP!!?

Question

I have a Harman/Kardon AVR 120 and when i turn it on it turns itself right back off after about 3-4 seconds. And it doesent have any error messages before it shuts off or anything like that.

u have a short in your speaker wires just redo all the wires to your speakers and you should be good to go.

you have a bad power supply.. ive seen this same problem on some flat screen televisions as well. a 3 or 4 second cycle time.

Most likely you have a short in one of your speaker wires.  Check them to make sure you dont have the positive and negative touching, or nothing like a nail or staple going through the wire.  Otherwise your unit has gone bad and needs service.
