Harmison re-called to the England side and bowling at 92mph surely this is a good thing?

I know he has just been spanked all round the rose bowl, but that is 20-20, test cricket and therefore Harmison are a whole different ball game! (excuse the pun)

Yet another appalling decision by the selectors and they are really pulling out the stops this season.

OK Harmy may well rediscover the radar or perhaps he may not and Freddie at second slip may well be fielding his first ball as he did so famously not so long ago.

Even if he does manage to put it on the strip he will do a ' Marcus' as he does not play outside the country as he misses pork pies or his wife or chips.

Selectors are making them selves look really stupid. They should be looking at who is going to bat at three and who is going to keep wicket as that is where alot of the problems lie.

Harmison has a depressive,negative personality,and this tends to affect other players.He has not a clue how to direct a cricket ball.He will be out after the next test.Tremlett,than simon jones are much better choices

Lots of guys who play cricket at different levels have been spanked around as you put it , but Harmison seems to get down more than most and when he does he always seems unable to pull himself out again .

Hopefully,  assuming he does get picked on Wednesday , his first ball will land somewhere close to the cut strip and then perhaps he might add a bid of fire to this lack luster attack

The real test comes when England then have to play away , how much of himself will actually be there when he plays . He needs to show a lot more commitment to being part of the team , after all it is cricket that has given him and his family a nice life style

Saying all that I hope he plays and takes lots of wickets to prove me and many others wrong

Yes, and he and his Durham colleagues have just been described as "moping about". So it seems Harmison has regained his England form, and will spend the next Test match doing what he does best: moping and looking increasingly gormless.

Edit: The problem was, Durham were described as "moping" after only 5 overs. Harmison at that stage had only bowled 1!

I don't know what they expect to win with four number 11 batsmen (Sidebottom, Harmison, Anderson and Panesar) and three more out of touch (Flintoff, Vaughan and Ambrose).
