Haro forum intro lite?

i began racing dirt bikes when i was five then when i stopped i began racing mountain bikes untill i was 11 now i am 15 and have been riding still but not racing i have began to seriously get into bmx and bought a haro forum intro lite and now i decided i want to race 20'' bmx but will i be able to keep up on my bike or should i get a race specific bike

well you should be able to keep up as long as you hav a good crank. I would suggest you gut your haro i mean take off all the stuff you wont need like pegs,reflectors,kickstand, all the stuff you dont need. that should make the bike light enough to keep up. My friend races 20" bmx with a GT slammer he gutted his,  and he can beat almost all the other guys on the track
